Please follow the steps:
Create a the data in the below format. Go at the extreme bottom of this post. You will find a file attached by the name Demo Testing1.csv. When you click on the file, you will find that the the format will get downloaded on your desktop. The format of the file has to CSV Comma Delimited. The software doesn't support xl or xls or anyother format. It only supports, CSV (comma Delimited). The format image is shown below.
The points to be noted about the upload,
1. That the upload sheet should not have special characters in the sheet. Special characters like Sudip, in the first name. Here comma after the name of Sudip is a special character.
2. That the column "Phone" is mandatory. This is where you should keep the mobile number of phone number of the customer.
When you save the format, please note that the format is CSV comma delimited as shown in below image.
Go to the contacts page. In contacts Click on Contact Actions as Shown on the below Image.
Now click on import contact button as shown in the below image.
Click on the "choose File" as shown on the below image to attach the file you want to upload. The same is shown here.
After you have attached the file, name the file name here as shown in the image. Naming the file, helps you to search the file after it has been uploaded. See the below image.
Now, click on the upload button as shown in the below image.
Check that all the data has been uploaded. The system will show you the same in the pop up window, as shown in the below image.
This is the last step. Now go and click on the cross button, to close the window, as shown on below image.
